This masterclass is an unique opportunity to learn from Adam Weiner. Adam Weiner is a recognized taiko player and teacher, bringing in more than three decades of taiko experience. With his YouTube-channel 'Tic Tac Taiko' he gained international acclaim and inspired many, among which Yorokai's trailblazers.

In this masterclass, Adam will be focusing on the fundamentals of creating a solid strike with a nice sound. A lot of the time will be spent on the mechanics of a good strike involving the arm, elbow, wrist, hand, and fingers. Combined with a lot of focus on using the body as a whole in order to create a holistic and efficient strike, you’ll be able to play louder with less strength, longer with less effort, and faster with less tension!

Adam will also share his martial arts experience translated into moving around the drum while playing. He'll show you how much is possible when you leave that one spot behind the drum!
