This masterclass is an unique opportunity to learn from Adam Weiner. Adam Weiner is a recognized taiko player and teacher, bringing in more than three decades of taiko experience. With his YouTube-channel 'Tic Tac Taiko' he gained international acclaim and inspired many, among which Yorokai's trailblazers.

In this masterclass, Adam will offer several approaches to rhythm as rhythm is a huge part of taiko. The more approaches you have, the better taiko player you can be! In this class you’ll learn how to feel rhythms in your body ánd how to understand them intellectually. Adam will start by diving deep into the simple downbeat and how it anchors us as musicians. After the foundations are established, you’ll move into polyrhythms and syncopation. You’ll wind up playing things you didn’t think you could by the end of the workshop!
